Officers from Oregon Department of Agriculture Visiting CCIE


       Mr. James Cramer, Managing Director of Oregon Department of Agriculture led a delegation to visit CCIE.
 
       After briefed the distinguished guests from America, Mr. Lu Kai, President of CCIE, introduced our agricultural business in details and extended sincere thanks for their strong support and attention given to our office in America. Mr. Xu Chenhui, Vice President of CCIE, offered several specific suggestions on promoting the cooperation between CCIE and Oregon State in agricultural industry.
 
       Mr. James Cramer introduced the uniqueness and strengths of Oregon’s agriculture, spoke highly of the active measures we have taken to deepen the cooperation with agricultural enterprises in America and the accomplishments we have achieved so far. He invited us to visit Oregon in person so that both sides can enhance the mutual understanding and mutual trust toward each other to tap the complementarities between China and United States in a more active manner.
 
        According to the statistics recorded by China Customs, China imported around 378,400 MT of alfalfa in total from Sept. 2012 to April 2013, among which, we imported 47,800 MT, taking up 12.63% of market share and ranking first in China.
